At Montrose Dermatology + Cosmetics we provide comprehensive treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails in adults and children. From skin cancer and acne to psoriasis and eczema, a board certified dermatologist will provide you with the highest quality care for these conditions. We also provide preventative options for patients who are concerned about the health of their skin.

Skin Cancer

Over the last 30 years, there have been more cases of skin cancer than all other types of cancer combined. The Skin Cancer Foundation estimates that one out of five people will develop at least one skin cancer during their lifetime. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential for the best outcomes, and skin checks with your dermatologist are the best way to be proactive.

Skin Cancer
Actinic Keratosis

Actinic Keratoses or Precancers

Actinic keratoses (AKs, or precancers) are persistently rough areas that develop on chronically sun damaged skin. Left untreated, these lesions can turn into skin cancer. We provide skin checks to identify AKs and treat them either by traditional liquid nitrogen therapy (aka cryotherapy) or Blue Light photodynamic treatment for those patients with more extensive lesions.

Acne

Are you struggling with acne? Acne is a distressing condition that affects both teenagers as well as adults; and particularly women.

Whether you have mild acne that only needs topical treatment or more severe acne requiring oral therapy, Montrose Dermatology can create an individualized treatment plan for you.

In addition, to assist patients with the most severe and treatment-resistant acne, we are an iPledge provider for isotretinoin, also known as Accutane.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a common chronic skin disease that causes red, dry scaly patches on the skin. It can be limited to the skin of the knees and elbows or be more widespread. It is a disease that can be difficult to treat and frustrating for patients.

Treatment of psoriasis is tailored to the severity of the patient’s disease. Mild disease can be treated with topical creams, while more extensive disease may require treatment with oral or injectable medications or light therapy.

Skin Rashes

Do you have an itchy, uncomfortable rash? Our dermatologists can provide insight into skin rashes, easing concerns and recommending treatment options to offer relief. Whether you struggle with an unknown allergy or have an underlying medical condition, our dermatologists will be able to diagnose the cause and prescribe the best course of treatment.
